On March 20th, Sugar Land divorce attorney Yasmin Kutty will join Ruchi Mukherjee, editor of LCAHouston, to lead a conversation about cultural factors unique to Asian-American marriages that may lead to domestic violence.
The conversation, entitled Cultural Nuances in Asian American Divorces That Lead to Domestic Violence, will be held at The Studio at River Oaks District from 5pm – 7pm. Tickets are free, but reservations are required. You can make your reservation by emailing info@LCAHouston.com.
While tickets are free, those wishing to make a donation can do so to our local Rainbow Room during the registration process.
Attorney Kutty has worked with LCAHouston in the past, publishing an article in July 2016 highlighting the cultural nuances in a South Asian American Divorce. Conducting the session, Mrs. Kutty will talk about factors in Asian American divorce that can lead to domestic violence, helping those in attendance better understand the cultural nuances that may influence spousal abuse and providing tools that can help prevent its occurrence.
Space is limited. Be sure to reserve your spot today.
